Friendly, warm and welcoming, this very fine restaurant delivers the perfect dining experience. We loved the relaxed and informal ambience and both the food and service were superb throughout. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and the team at the " On The Hill " provided the perfect dining experience. A special occasion evening which was an absolute delight. The Fish Market main is food to die for, but then again, so we're all the other courses. 10/10 and highly recommended. Andy & Wendy. Bala.
Exquisite food and warming smiles from staff. I have been a fan of On the Hill for quite some time, always paying then a visit around my birthday. It is family run business and that really works in their favour of creating an intimate dining atmosphere. 5 starts as always.
I can't praise this restaurant highly enough. The food was absolutely superb. We both had the fish kebab which was just amazing - imaginative, complex and well balanced flavours. Every element of our meal was perfectly cooked, and all courses were beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, there was a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I love that there were real flowers and proper linen on the tables! Someone asked me if I'd drive for an hour to go there again (we live near Bangor) and I said I'd walk across broken glass to get to this restaurant! Thank you for a perfect meal and a lovely evening.

Excellent again! Have been to this restaurant a number of times and it is always fantastic! The service was great, and the food is absolutely amazing. I had the bream and my husband had the beef medallions; both were very good.
